Musicians for Peace heeft nog enkele data vrij in tournee eind dit jaar
Op het interactieve forum van www.folkroddels.be lazen we het volgende bericht gericht aan café Wilhelmina (vermoedelijk gevonden bij bericht over het Folkbal dat daar in dat Eindhovense cafe elke voorlaatste donderdag van de maand gaat plaat vinden). Een groep heeft nog enkele data vrij in haar tournee door Nederland en België en zoekt dus nog een podium. Lees me:
dear cafe wilhelmina - Musicians for Peace - a joint Arab/Jewish/German group with guitar/oud/darbouka and voices and a message from Isiah- "Nation shall not lift us sword against nation- neither shall they study war anymore" will be in Holland/Belgium from December 19 to January 10 performing in the service of peace in Arabic Hebrew and English. We would like to play for initiatives to bring Jews, Arabs and Christians (it is also Christmas with the news that peace is inevitable) together during this time. Some dates are already "booked" (Dec26-29) and we are open to co-operate in Hannukah celebrations (20th to 28th) that feature elements of reconciliation , interfaith dialogue and support for the refuseniks (guns2guitars, Refuser Solidarity Network,Vredesburo Heerlen,New Profile, Interfaith Encounter Assoc).
