Wie helpt Amerikaanse band Spigot
aan optredens tussen 10 en 23 mei

Zie onderstaand bericht van de band SPIGOT (dat ik overigens van iemand anders doorgezonden kreeg).
Zij komen naar Nederland/België/Frankrijk in de periode van 10 tot 23 mei a.s.
Helaas, zo blijkt uit dit mailtje, is hun contactpersoon "afgehaakt", terwijl ze hun tickets al gekocht hebben.
Wie kan / wil helpen om deze prima band in genoemde periode wat optredens te bezorgen?

Bill McNally of Burnside Records in the US gave me your email.
I represent a band (Spigot) here in Portland Oregon. We are scrambling to line up some gigs for our Holland/Belgium/France trip may 10-23.
We had a company booking us, and they just yesterday cancelled our gigs they were coordinating.
Bill said you may be able to help us line up some gigs, or may know of booking/venue contacts that
would be receptive to helping us.
Also hoping to find a label or distribution company that's interested in helping to distribute our cd.
We are distributed by BDC Burnside Distribution Company.
A gentleman by the name of XXXXXX (om privacy-redenen weggehaald, Jos vd Boom) initially agreed
to help us w/our tour, but he said shortly after that he had some health issues he was dealing with
and wasn't able to help us. He did offer assistance getting us some national radio play. We sent him some
discs to distribute to radio a couple of months ago. Bill mentioned a company called Sonic Rendezvous that might be a good fit for our music? For what it's worth, we received a good review

Locally we've been getting good press, which hopefully will continue as we spend more time on the road. Wondering if you have some time/ability to help us out?
As i said, we're scrambling. We found out about the cancellations after we already bought our plane tickets.
We'll work hard to make something work. Our dates that we do have secured this far:
may 18, 20 at the FIMU festival in Belfort France.
may 22 at the Maelo-Melo in Amsterdam
may ? a gig at the blues cafe in Apeldoorn.
