Wie programmeert Iers talent Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola?
Dara O Conaola uit het Ierse Inishere promoot van harte de Ierse zangeres Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola. Lassarena Nee Hun-neeluh (zoals je het volgens Dara uitspreekt) heeft al een mooie cd op haar naam staan en het wordt volgens Dara tijd dat wij op het vaste land van Europa met haar kennismaken. I am emailing you regarding the singer Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola, (pronounced Lassarena Nee Hun-neeluh) from the Aran Islands in the west of Ireland. Her CD, 'An Raicin Alainn', (pronounced An Rack-keen Ah-lyn), on her own label, has been very successful and continues to receive great praise from music critics in Ireland, Europe and America. This year Liveireland.com chose Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola as the female Vocalist of the Year and fRoots Music Magazine described her album as "One of the most sumptuous albums of traditional singing to have emerged for some time." She can be heard singing on Sinead O Connor's DVD, 'Thank You, You Were A Great Audience'.
