In februari 2010 heeft The Oxford Fiddle Group een optreden in Leiden. Er komen maar liefst 14 muzikanten en ze willen graag meer optredens in die periode. Via een Nederlandse vriendin ontvingen we de volgende oproep:

Hi,
I run a fiddle band called The Oxford Fiddle Group. We have a booking coming up in Leiden in February 2010, while we are in Holland we would like to include some other bookings, does anyone know of any venues or festivals in Holland that would be suitable for us? We play mainly English and Scottish tunes and songs, but also some Irish and American material.
Though we are all amateurs, we are experienced players, several are music teachers and we have released 2 CDs over the past three years, the most recent (Beyond the Spires) came out in February. Our line up is acoustic guitar, bass guitar, Celtic harp, vocalist and fiddles.
We will have 14 players going to Holland so our venues will need to be big.
